Over a 12-month residency as Lead Motion Designer for Jordan Platten’s YouTube channel (400k+ subscribers), I was responsible for engineering the most technically demanding visual segments and advanced animations to drive viewer retention. My primary directive was to engineer the most complex visual segments of the content, elevating the production value far beyond standard digital editing. Working in a high-sync environment with a co-editor, I was responsible for the hardest animations and visual storytelling components, ensuring every video maintained top-tier viewer retention. Complexity at Scale: Creating intricate 2D/3D motion graphics and data visualizations that simplified complex marketing concepts for a global audience.

The research phase was an ongoing evolution. I analyzed high-retention "edutainment" styles (like MrBeast or Iman Gadzhi) to adapt those high-impact techniques to Jordan’s specific brand. Concept development focused on "Visual Anchoring"—using motion graphics to ground abstract business theories, making the educational content more digestible and engaging for a fast-paced YouTube audience.
